Double Dive Yesterday Thursday 6 Feb 25 with Whiskey, Dong and Daniel. First dive was at the Dump apart from a light white haze in the water it was an excellent dive with plenty of life on all the pontoons. Despite the haze the vis was around 7-8 meters, and the water was a pleasant 23c. We also explored some of the surrounding areas which is always very interesting. There was the usual parade of Old Wifes, Magpie Perch, Bore Fish, Pike and the occasional nudibranch. Second dive was at Christies Reef this was to photograph a mooring used by the Christies Beach Yatch Club that has been damaged. This should have been an easy task as we quickly located it on the echo sounder. However once in the water we discovered that the anchor had dragged. Not to be perturbed by this after securing the anchor to a solid rock we set off to find the mooring. Using compass and a bit of luck we came across the mooring block and Daniel took the requested photos.
